About Me:

My name is Mr. Pontius and I am a teacher at Jefferson Middle School.  Currently I teach Woodworking, Industrial Technology, Exploring and Applied Technology, and a class called Inventions and Marketing.  I also organize an after school woodworking club called the MITES Club.  During our meetings we create woodworking projects to compete against other schools in the annual Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society convention.  My hobbies include woodworking (of course), reading, and enjoying Detroit Sports.
